Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Engineer with expertise in proposal development and procurement to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling proposals and managing procurement processes to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and write high-quality proposals, bids, and tenders for new business opportunities
- Conduct market research and analyze customer needs to inform proposal development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and ensure proposal alignment with business objectives
- Manage procurement processes, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract negotiations
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in proposal development and/or procurement
- Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, civil, or related field)
- Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience with proposal management software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
